With the combined experience of over 60+ years within the fire and security industry, the directors of Thatch Fire Prevention (TFP) created the "Phoenix" Chimney Monitor (early warning detection system), designed to protect thatched roof properties from the major risk of chimney heat transfer, which is the most common cause of fire in these style of homes and businesses.
TFP also design supply and install intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, offer consultancy works, fire risk assessment and CCTV chimney surveys for both the commercial and private sectors.
Although we are able to provide a number of products and services, we also take any opportunity to raise awareness of the dangers of multi-fuel appliances (i.e. wood-burning stoves) particularly within thatched properties.
